I agree with you totally about the enjoyment, however for me halo is not that great. Games are no different to any other entertainment I like star wars the wife hates it....each to their own
My comments about the uncharted games are really about the technical things they achieve which includes graphics...the main thing is they are enjoyable everything else is secondary

The reality is ps3 has it's army of first party dev's churning out award winning exclusive games consistently. The only third party games a ps3 owner needs to even consider have to be exceptional eg Batman otherwise they just play it at a friends or their pc...lol

My original 60gb could play ps2 games and the only one I played was resident evil 4 as I not played it before, that was in it's 1st year once the games stared rolling the last thing on my mind was playing ps2 games..lol

When dvd replaced vhs my new dvd player did not play mt vhs tapes and I had to upgrade my collection if I wanted it on my dvd player.
Of course I am sure I could of paid a premium for a player that could play both much like people could have played a premium to buy a ps3 that could of played ps2 games.
As dvd matured though I am sure my only option would have been to buy a back up vhs player as any manufacturer who offered a player to play both formats would ...

It will take time but the next TV I buy will 3d, and as all the major manufacturers of tv's are pushing 3d along with the movie industry I doubt I will be the only one.
